It doesn't feel sticky at all, and it adheres beautifully to my lips with a perfect, comfortable fit. Absolutely love it! The moisturizing effect was weak, and I really didn't like the fragrance. I've been using Burt's Bees beeswax for 5 years, and when I went to Olive Young, I discovered they had just released this new lip balm! I decided to give it a try, and I'm so impressed. Not only did it significantly reduce my dry, flaky lips, but it also feels amazing. When you first smell it, there's a cola scent, but here's the thing - whenever I drink water or eat food and accidentally ingest some of the product, it tastes really bitter and the flavor is pretty unpleasant. The application is completely non-sticky with a slightly matte finish, but it's incredibly moisturizing and the staying power lasts longer compared to other lip balms! The cooling effect is pretty minimal, though there's a slightly refreshing sensation. This is honestly such a great product - no stickiness, super hydrating, and the moisture really stays put! If you're sensitive to fragrance, you might not love the scent, and the ingredient list is a bit underwhelming in some areas, but otherwise it's solid! This is the thinnest and lightest lip balm I've ever used, and it feels so comfortable on my lips while delivering long-lasting moisture. It doesn't fade quickly and adheres really well, so I don't need to reapply it constantly. I'm someone who wears lip balm all the time, and I used to have a separate night lip balm, but this one product handles both day and night perfectly. Since it keeps my lips hydrated even without frequent application, I'm actually spending less on lip balm now. Honestly, other lip balms feel heavy and don't last, so I can't imagine going back to them. At first, it felt a bit dry when applying it. Because of that, it seemed to go on thin, but the moisture was actually really good so there weren't any performance issues. It was just the application texture that felt unfamiliar to me. Once I got used to it though, it became fine. When I first used it, I warmed it up a few times on the back of my hand before applying. Here's my routine: I apply it, wipe it off with gauze, then apply it again. Next, I add a layer of honey, cover it with gauze, and wait 15 minutes. After I remove the gauze, my lips feel amazing.
