So a friend suggested I try coating my face with a protective balm before entering the pool to shield it from the chlorinated water. Since that felt too heavy for my skin type, I decided to search for a waterproof sunscreen instead. That's when I discovered Bushman sunscreen - it was ranked number one by far. The reviews were glowing and the ingredients were surprisingly gentle for a sunscreen. I didn't hesitate and ordered it right away. The results were amazing! Of course, I'm also seeing a dermatologist and using other products carefully to help my skin heal, but using Bushman sunscreen as a protective barrier before swimming has made a huge difference. It's been a game-changer for me! I absolutely loved it! Some people mentioned the scent was off-putting, but I actually enjoyed it. However, I liked it so much that I gave some to a friend at the pool to try, and she said it made her eyes sting. That was strange because it didn't bother me at all. I always make sure to rinse off before entering the pool, then apply this generously as a protective coating. I just got back from Southeast Asia and my skin didn't get darker at all. The weather wasn't great the whole time, so I didn't really get a chance to see how it would perform on a really sunny day. I used this for a week in mid-July, and from that point through late October until now, it's caused me terrible breakouts along my jawline. Up until I was 27, I never had acne—just maybe one small blemish before my period—but this product introduced me to a whole new reality. Now I have visible pores on my chin, excess oil, and I've learned firsthand how all that sebum can turn into acne. This is honestly the worst product I've ever tried in my entire life. It has a subtle minty, refreshing scent that feels amazing. The texture glides on smoothly and leaves my skin feeling hydrated. There's barely any stickiness without any white cast, which I really appreciate. It doesn't feel heavy or suffocating, and the water-resistant formula is fantastic. Since I tend to sweat a lot on my face and body, this product alone works perfectly for me. I wish this came in a larger size. It runs out quickly when I apply it all over my body. I've found that applying it in thin layers multiple times helps with absorption. Just a heads up—you'll definitely need a second cleanse to remove it completely, as it doesn't wash off easily with just one rinse.

What I love most is that it's gentle on the environment and skin while still delivering powerful UV protection The fragrance isn't great, and honestly, it makes me hesitant to apply it every time. I love how this powerful waterproof formula keeps me protected from UV rays, even when I'm swimming at the beach or water park. It stays put and doesn't wash away easily. Since I mainly use it on my body, the price feels a bit steep for covering my entire body. This product definitely seems to work! I could actually see the difference between where I applied it and where I didn't, which was pretty cool.
