The barley extract seems to be well-formulated in this product. I've noticed some brightening effects, and my skin definitely looks more radiant and luminous. I bought this specifically for my flat warts, but they seem to have gotten worse. The product is quite irritating. Even though it's a soap with plenty of oils, it still feels tight and dry. My skin feels pulled after cleansing. I'm not sure which ingredient isn't working for my skin, but I've definitely noticed more warts appearing since using this. It's clear that this product doesn't actually help with flat warts. - ki*********Da hỗn hợpDa nhạy cảmDa mụnLàm sáng da / Đốm thâmBã nhờn / Mụn đầu đenLỗ chân lông toMẩn đỏĐược đề xuất12/11/2024 (UTC+0)
I purchased this after a dermatologist specializing in wart removal recommended it. I've already gone through about three bars, and while I haven't noticed a dramatic transformation in my skin, I've definitely experienced less redness and irritation after cleansing. Since it's a bar soap, it's inconvenient to pack and carry when traveling. I'd recommend grabbing a few bars when they go on sale at Naver's Baek-A-Yul mall - it's a great way to stock up. - pu**********Da hỗn hợpDa nhạy cảmDa mụnĐược đề xuất24/10/2023 (UTC+0)
Skin Type: Sensitive + combination (oily T-zone with breakouts, dry U-zone) + prone to oiliness + easily irritated by wrong product choices After sticking with cleansing foam for years, I finally switched to a cleansing soap for the first time in over a decade. I'm using this Katrin soap as my second cleanse after cleansing oil for double cleansing. Since neither weakly alkaline nor weakly acidic foam cleansers work for my skin type, I've found that soap is actually the perfect match for me. I'm sharing this review after using up one full bar (3-4+ weeks of use). Strengths • The texture is perfectly balanced—not drying, not slippery either I've heard that overly drying soaps can be really harsh on skin, but this one feels refreshing while still leaving skin feeling hydrated. I'm really impressed. • Job's tears ingredient works beautifully for combination skin As someone with oily-combination skin, I've found that job's tears works really well on my face. This Katrin soap is no exception. • Calms existing breakouts Using Katrin soap doesn't prevent new breakouts from forming on my T-zone. New blemishes still appear. However, it definitely soothes existing problem areas much better than when I was using weakly acidic or weakly alkaline foam cleansers. • Brightening effect I bought this mainly for breakout control and didn't expect this, but I've noticed my skin gradually looking brighter and more radiant. • Quality ingredients Since I'm quite sensitive to ingredients, I chose this product because the formula matters to me. I love that it doesn't contain multiple heavy oils or irritating ingredients. • Rich, luxurious lather The foam is different from cleansing foam—it makes cleansing so easy and enjoyable. • It doesn't completely prevent breakouts from forming (Though it definitely does help calm existing breakouts) • Because it's close to a natural product, it softens quickly (The color also tends to fade or discolor easily) • Since it's quite soft, I recommend cutting it into several pieces, wrapping them, and storing them so you can use one piece at a time. • If you're like me and find that both weakly acidic and weakly alkaline foam cleansers don't work for your skin and you keep experiencing breakouts, I'd really recommend trying a natural soap instead.
