I've been using this since the early 2010s and haven't stopped. My skin is combination, and foam cleansers leave it feeling tight, so I gave up on those long ago. This natural soap from Beautiful Skin has amazing cleansing power, leaves my skin feeling hydrated, and does wonders for managing dead skin cells. I've been loyal to this for over 15 years now. When I first started using it, I didn't think about it, but the fact that it's a plastic-free, eco-friendly product really resonates with me now. (The photo shows the complimentary travel-size bars I received with my purchase of two full-size soaps. They're perfect to toss in my luggage when I travel.) Honestly, there's nothing I'd change. I just hope the brand keeps going strong for many more years. Since the soap bars are quite generous in size, if you're only using them for facial cleansing, the retailer offers a cutting service. My skin is sensitive and prone to irritation, scarring, and dryness, so I'm usually really picky about what products I use. BeautifulSkin is genuinely my favorite brand. I think bathing is when I feel closest to myself, aside from a few stretching and yoga sessions each week. Using quality products during that time makes me feel like I'm truly taking care of myself, and for the past few years, BeautifulSkin's soap has been exactly that for me. I used to love woodsy, musky, herbal scents, but lately I'm really into these fresh, slightly sweet fragrances too. My boyfriend especially loves how it smells—it has these lovely kiwi and tropical fruit notes. I'm also a fan of the Green Tea and Lime scrub bar. The price is a bit steep. I understand they use quality ingredients, but since it's a bar soap that dissolves in water, it disappears faster than you'd expect. I use a facial cleansing net to make mine last longer. I've tried cutting it into quarters and thirds, but cutting it in half seems to be the most economical approach. The ingredients are really quality, and it doesn't break down easily like other products. Plus, it creates a nice lather every time I use it.
