That said, this is pretty typical for natural shampoos, so it's something I can work with. Given the price point relative to the bottle size, I find myself wanting to stretch the product further. Up until now, I've been adding essential oils directly to unscented natural shampoo, but the oily scalp smell never really went away, so I'd end up washing my hair 3 to 4 times each time. I figured that was just the price of keeping my scalp healthy, but with this shampoo, after just 2 washes and a rinse, my scalp stays fresh even 24 hours later. I've been using this for years! Even when I've tried other products, I always come back to this one. It's my go-to staple that I always keep stocked. The formula is excellent, and compared to other natural shampoos, it lathers beautifully and leaves my hair feeling so soft. The price is quite steep for the amount you get. Since my scalp is so reactive, other products would sting and irritate it, and I even developed breakouts on my scalp. But after using Lemon Verbena, all of that disappeared! It's pricey, honestly. The cost is steep, but the results are worth it. I'd love to keep it all to myself, but my husband's scalp is sensitive too, so I reluctantly share it with him. Ha! A gentle scalp massage with your fingertips feels so refreshing and soothing.
