This product feels so hydrating and moisturizing - I'm really going to love using it. Thank you! I received this as a gift and I'm using it, but I have to say the packaging wasn't in the best condition when it arrived. This is hands down the best aloe product out there in terms of ingredient quality and purity. I have extremely sensitive skin, and I've already gone through two bottles and I'm on my third one because I'm absolutely loving it. I wanted to share my experience. Most aloe products on the market contain propanediol or alcohol, which can leave your skin feeling irritated or tight after just a few minutes of application. It's pretty harsh, honestly. The truth is, when people say aloe doesn't work for their skin, it's usually not the aloe itself that's the problem. It's often the propanediol that companies add to get rid of aloe's naturally sticky texture that causes the real issues. But this product? It completely ignores texture trends and was clearly designed with sensitive skin in mind. The hydration level is seriously impressive. Even after application, your skin doesn't feel dry at all. And most importantly, your skin feels so calm and comfortable. If you have super reactive skin and you're nervous about trying new products, you absolutely need to give this a shot. I use it religiously both during my makeup routine and before bed. It's genuinely that good. If you've ever applied raw aloe directly to your skin, you know that aloe naturally has a pretty thick, slimy consistency. Other brands use propanediol to cut through that sliminess, but since this product doesn't contain propanediol, it keeps that slippery, slightly sticky feeling. I skip the essence and use a generous amount of toner, but when I apply a rich cream, I get those pesky small breakouts and my skin feels tight. Turns out it wasn't about needing more cream—it was about needing more hydration. I discovered this brand through their soap, and I ended up using their hydrating gel without much thought. Now it's become my holy grail product, and I've been using it for seven years straight. If you're struggling with dryness that toner alone can't fix, you absolutely have to try this. Plus, there's zero makeup pilling. The packaging is honestly frustrating. When there's a little bit left at the bottom, it won't come out no matter how hard you squeeze it, so you end up wasting product. They do provide a cap, but it's still inconvenient overall. Still, since I'm attached to the product, I make do with it anyway. Apply a generous amount of toner first to prep your skin, then use this right after. Just one application before bed and the hydration is absolutely incredible. It truly delivers on calming and soothing, plus the formula is so clean and effective—I'm obsessed. This is my holy grail product and I'm sticking with it for life. The only downside is the price tag. I wish it were a bit more affordable because it does hurt the wallet. That said, it's still totally worth it despite the cost. I've known BeautifulSkin for over 10 years now. I think the first product I bought from this brand back in high school was their Song of Norway Soap, which I discovered by chance. The fragrance is absolutely wonderful, and it cleanses so gently and effectively compared to most foam cleansers that I've tried nearly every product they offer! While some items didn't work for my skin, this soothing gel is irreplaceable for me. You might think the size is small, but I can confidently say it's worth every penny. When I use this, my skin balance stays perfectly maintained, and I've gotten compliments on my bare skin more times than I can count. I tried some budget alternatives after using this for a while, but I always come back to this product. I've also tried their blueberry gel, but I find this one has a better texture that feels more nourishing. The only downside is that they don't offer a larger size. Also, while it's nice that they include both a pump dispenser and a regular cap, I wish the regular cap came pre-installed from the start. The pump dispenser wastes some product, which feels like such a shame. In summer, I keep my routine simple with just toner and gel. I've never experienced a feeling like this before. The hydration is beyond what I imagined! Most aloe gels you find in stores, like Aromatica, are amazing for soothing and cooling effects, but they evaporate so quickly that I always had to layer a rich moisturizing cream on top. But after using this, I don't need the extra cream anymore. It's incredible! When I do a deep cleanse, apply this, and then add a sheet mask on top, I get soothing plus anti-inflammatory plus hydration plus brightening all in one. It's like catching four birds with one stone. So satisfying! If you apply too much, like you would with regular aloe gel, it gets really sticky and tacky. It's better to use less product. Plus, it's not exactly budget-friendly, so you'll want to be mindful of how much you use. If you have extremely oily skin, you'll definitely need to use even less. This aloe vera product seems to be pure aloe, nothing else. I just apply it before bed and it works wonderfully as a hydrating treatment on its own. When the pump gets low on product, it becomes pretty useless. I'm satisfied with the replacement cap you sent though. This seems to work great for both acne-prone and dry skin! When my face feels hot and irritated, applying this really helps cool things down and gives my skin the hydration boost it needs. Unlike other aloe soothing gels, this one feels incredibly hydrating while absorbing beautifully into the skin. I also love that it comes in a pump bottle instead of a jar you have to dip your fingers into—it's so much more hygienic. Especially during summer, you really need to be careful about keeping things clean. I use it with my mom, and she loves it even more than I do, which makes me so happy! I use the Beautiful Skin toner and emulsion all the time, and every time I order, they include a cute little soap as a gift. I'm using that too and it's wonderful. Thank you so much! This product truly delivers both hydration and calming benefits. Since my entire body tends to be dry, I mix it with body emulsion and apply it, and I also mix it into my foam cleanser for washing. I've been using Beautiful Skin alongside R&D Lab since I was younger, and I'm definitely sticking with Beautiful Skin soothing gels going forward. What really impresses me is how thoughtful the brand is—they include not just a pump, but also a twist-open cap so you can seal it properly. This makes it perfect for travel without worrying about leaks during summer vacations. The amount is way too small for the price, honestly. Even setting aside the high cost, the small quantity means you end up having to buy multiple bottles at once, which is a real drawback.
