It really does it all: exfoliates dead skin, prevents ingrown hairs, and smooths out your skin texture. Even though the granules are quite large, they're not harsh at all. There's no stinging or burning sensation whatsoever, and it actually leaves your skin feeling silky smooth. The particles are densely packed and uniform, so when you massage it on, there's barely any scratching feeling. Instead, it gently melts away dead skin with a smooth glide. Because of this, when my hair grows back, it comes through softly without that uncomfortable trapped feeling. The scent is subtly fresh too, so there's no problem using it right after a shower. If I had to pick a downside, the amount you get is a bit disappointing. Since it's a scrub, you end up using quite a lot with each application. If you use it regularly, it runs out pretty quickly. Also, if water touches it during your shower, it dissolves right away, so you have to be careful with it. That's why I've started drying my hands with a towel in between and scooping it out with dry hands. This really seems to work great for ingrown hairs! My skin feels so smooth and soft, and it's really easy to maintain. I'm very satisfied! I don't have any major complaints, but I do wish it came with a applicator spoon for easier use!
