It does have a slight tendency to clump a bit, but honestly, I've seen brightening and spot-correcting creams that are way heavier than this. So to me, this feels almost like a hydrating moisturizer, haha. I apply a small amount even before makeup and it works fine. In the evening, I don't slather it on too thick, just a bit more than I use in the morning. The only thing is, since I use such a small amount each time, I'm worried I won't finish it before it expires. I've also been applying it to some darker areas on my body, and I have to say, the results seem even better there than on my face. It definitely works. If you really hate any clumping or heaviness at all, this probably isn't for you. The thing is, the stronger the brightening effect, the thicker and heavier the formula tends to be, so I'm making peace with this level.
