I was also curious about the serum and cream hybrid formula, which I'd never seen before. Application: I used the green serum and cream in a 1:1 ratio for three days, applying it right after my hydrating toner. Spring weather has me thinking about switching up my cream routine, so I tried a new product alongside this one. At first, my skin had that gorgeous dewy glow, and the next morning my complexion felt incredibly smooth and soft. I was disappointed. I'm not sure if it was because I used the 1:1 ratio, or if it's still too cold outside, or because I was looking for extra hydration, but during the three days I used this cream, I kept getting small whiteheads on both sides of my cheekbone area, so I stopped and went back to my regular skincare routine, and my skin cleared up right away. Everyone was raving about this on Instagram and it was flying off the shelves, so I ended up buying several bottles of this pricey cream. Honestly, for this price point on a 50ml bottle, I don't think I'd buy it twice. This jar contains both a clear formula and an opaque formula mixed together. I got a sample and didn't expect much, but I was so pleasantly surprised that I went ahead and bought the full product. True to its Double Cream name, the gel and cream come in a lovely unmixed state, and when it first touches your face, you get this refreshing sensation. My skin didn't react negatively, and the formula blended beautifully with my makeup, which I really appreciated. It's pricey, but honestly, once I run out, I'll be buying it again. It just works really well for my skin.

It's like a gel cream but with a bit more substance to it, while still feeling lightweight and non-sticky. The fragrance is subtle and natural, so even people with sensitive skin can use it without worry! The amount you get is quite small, and honestly, the price is really steep, which is why I'm deducting a star. It's hard to use generously at this price point without feeling guilty about it. (If you kept the price the same but increased the amount, I'd definitely buy it again.) On days when I had breakouts and my skin felt irritated with uneven texture, I didn't pile on other products. Instead, I used a toner to balance my skin, then mixed in the calming cream appropriately. The next day, my skin was noticeably calmer and my complexion looked so much clearer!
