I don't quite understand why people say the Rebalance mask pack is drying. I have sensitive skin and sheet masks can be irritating for me, but while the Rebalance is pricey, I have to say the product itself is amazing. The sheet feels so soft and smooth, and it dries much slower than other mask packs, so you can leave it on longer without worrying. There's also an ampoule to apply before using the sheet mask, and after you're done, there's a separate cream to follow up with. Honestly, I'm always rushing to grab it during group buys or sales. The main issue is the price. Since it's quite expensive, I only manage to snag it when it goes on sale. The area around my eyes has quite a bit of milia, and it definitely faded. It doesn't seem very effective for other types of inflamed acne though. Honestly, I'd recommend the green balancing mask for calming acne instead of this one. The texture feels fresh and soothing, like a gel. It's lightweight and not heavy at all, so I'd suggest it for oily and combination skin types. The adhesion is really poor. This isn't some cheap mask that costs a dollar or two, it's a product at a decent price point, so shouldn't good adherence be a basic standard? Anyway, the mask doesn't stick to the skin well at all. I'd recommend this to anyone who deals with milia (still can't believe how well it works!). Even sheet masks can go wrong if you don't use them correctly - they shift around and cause breakouts. My skin is seriously dry, ultra-sensitive, and reactive to everything. But this one? No irritation at all, and I absolutely love it! (Honestly, sheet masks usually don't cause me problems anyway, so that's not really the point here... my skin is just weird, haha). Plus, it's incredibly hydrating - that goes without saying - and there's so much essence in it. The fact that it comes with an ampoule and cream too is amazing. It's perfect for overnight trips or when I'm traveling. It's pricey. You really need to buy it through group purchases to get a decent discount, and if you miss the group buy window, you can't get it. The soothing effect isn't as dramatic as I'd hoped. (I use other calming masks that show visible results right away, and this one doesn't compare in that way.) Usually I just use the sheet mask and save the ampoule and cream for when I need samples. When I refrigerate it and use it, it feels extra cooling and hydrating with better soothing - if that makes sense? I collect the leftover essence from the mask in an empty bottle and use it on my skin regularly too.
