This product feels refreshingly hydrated without any heaviness or stuffiness. I love how it moisturizes deeply all the way through! My skin is dry and sensitive, and my child has a touch of eczema, so we both really dislike heavy formulas. This product impressed us both - it's exactly what we needed. The price point is a bit steep. While it delivers good hydration for the cost, the moisturizing power feels a little underwhelming. During the coldest months, I mixed this with Illiyoon Ceramide Emulsion and it was fantastic - the hydration improved and the moisture felt even more luxurious. Illiyoon on its own can feel a bit heavy and occlusive, almost oily, but when combined with this product, it becomes lighter and the moisturizing benefits really shine through. This product feels refreshingly cool and delivers solid hydration. I think it'll work great from these rainy, sticky seasons right through summer. When emulsions feel too greasy but going without any moisturizer feels too tight and uncomfortable, this is the perfect middle ground. Even though it's designed for kids, it works wonderfully for adults too. My husband usually can't tolerate aloe gel products, but he's totally fine with this one. I checked the ingredients and they're really gentle and mild. I'm genuinely happy with it. It's gentle and non-irritating, so there's really nothing disappointing about it. It does evaporate fairly quickly, which can feel a bit drying for dry skin types, but that's just the nature of soothing gels, so it feels totally acceptable. It's reliable and lasts a really long time. The tube packaging makes it easy to dispense, and I keep coming back to it because it just works. I'm not sure if this soothing gel actually delivers on the hydration front. It's just okay, nothing special really.
