Its water droplet shape makes application so easy, and the product absorbs beautifully into the mesh-type cushion puff. The coverage applies smoothly and evenly with a dewy semi-matte finish. When you swipe it on, you get a sheer, skin-tone-correcting effect that feels barely-there. If you tap it instead, the formula builds up nicely for more coverage. I personally loved using both techniques together for the perfect balance. The cushion case and overall vibe felt more like something a student would use rather than a premium product. I didn't notice any cooling effect at all, and honestly, it wasn't dramatically different from other cushions I've tried. While it does smooth out skin texture, when you layer it for more coverage, it tends to clump. I think this formula works better for combination and oily skin types rather than dry skin like mine. The application feels light and barely-there, which is nice, but the formula seems to fade throughout the day. After testing it all week, I kept getting the same impression. It's not a drying cushion, but it does give a slightly matte finish, so I think it would appeal more to people in their teens and twenties. Every time I used it, I got pore clogging around my nose area, whether I swiped, tapped, or used a pore brush. The formula doesn't oxidize and darken, but it does wear away as time goes on. It seems like it would suit combination, oily, and dehydrated skin better than dry skin. The good news is it doesn't cause breakouts, so sensitive skin can use it too. I think younger age groups would prefer it over people in their thirties. It's not unwearable, so lately I've been using it for quick trips around the neighborhood.
