It's solid and reliable. I bought it because I heard the ingredients were really good Honestly, I can't really tell what's actually improving. My child's skin texture was bumpy and rough, but that hasn't gotten any better...

My child inherited their dad's sensitive skin with that rough, bumpy texture, and sure enough, when the seasons change, their arms and legs get all irritated and itchy. Since I'm really careful about keeping their skin hydrated during these tricky times, I'd recommend mixing this with a body cream rather than using it alone. It keeps moisture locked in for hours while feeling less sticky, and it absorbs beautifully. If you use it straight, the oil content makes it slippery and your child might refuse to let you apply it. Not recommended for oily skin types. It can feel too heavy and uncomfortable. I mix it with Derma:B body cream or Bioderma Atoderm PP balm before applying to the body, and it absorbs so well with minimal stickiness while the hydration lasts all day. Don't use this alone—always blend it with another moisturizing cream or body cream. For the face, I recommend Bioderma Atoderm PP balm, and for the body, I suggest Derma:B Ceramide MD body cream. For areas that need intensive hydration, apply it morning and evening for just 2-3 days. You'll see results right away.

We started using it when our kids were newborns, and we still rely on it during dry seasons as a body oil and facial oil. There really aren't any major drawbacks. Like most natural oils, the scent does shift slightly over time, but that's about it. During winter, I mix a little bit into my moisturizing cream or essence, and it keeps my skin feeling hydrated and dewy for so much longer.
