I've been using this for about a year! The texture flows like water and it's incredibly hydrating. I'd recommend it for those with dry or combination skin types. Even though the formula feels moisturizing, it finishes with a light, non-sticky feel that leaves skin feeling fresh and smooth! I honestly didn't find anything disappointing about it! Sunscreen can sometimes cause breakouts if you don't apply it correctly, but this one didn't give me any trouble at all. Just apply it after using a sheet mask, then layer your emulsion, and finish with a light application of this sunscreen. I've been using this Aqua Rich Essence product and absolutely love it! Both products feel amazing on the skin, spread beautifully, and I trust the Biore brand completely. Comparing the two, this one does have a slight white cast compared to the essence, but there's no eye irritation. It feels a bit drier at first, but once you get used to it, it's totally fine. Just be a little careful when applying it. I noticed less oil buildup throughout the day, so it really comes down to your personal preference. If you want something more like a hydrating cream, go for the essence! But if you prefer something without excess moisture, not too tight-feeling, and won't leave your face feeling parched as time goes on, the watery gel with its light white cast is perfect! I've been obsessed with Amorepacific Biore sunscreen for almost a year now. The essence is better for layering makeup on top. I've seen reviews mentioning it can be hard to spread, so I'd recommend applying it in two thin layers instead. I've been using this every day this summer and I'm loving it! It applies so smoothly without any sticky residue. I received this as a gift and didn't have an immediate use for it, so I just casually tried it on—and wow, what is this?! My skin is absolutely glowing like crazy! At first, when I applied it, the texture felt a bit like herbal tea, but the finish was completely different and totally surprised me. It gives this subtle luminous effect that just makes my skin look flawless, and when I layer my BB cream on top, I literally transform into a skin goddess!!!! I've been using this since last winter through spring, and even though it's a gel formula, it doesn't feel dry at all. It absorbs beautifully with a rich, nourishing texture that worked wonderfully during those dry seasons. This sunscreen has a gel texture that feels incredibly lightweight and comfortable on the skin. Given that Japan has a hot climate, this formula makes total sense. Plus, it's super affordable at around 4,000 won per tube, and you get a generous amount of product for the price. Here's the thing though - when I apply it over my base makeup, it starts to pill and flake off like it's rejecting the other products underneath. The compatibility just isn't there. Because of this, I only use it on weekdays on my neck, and I save it for makeup-free weekends when I'm not wearing a full face. I use this on days when I'm going makeup-free.
