I'm honestly not sure about the adhesion quality - it sticks well on flat areas, but it tends to peel off on curved surfaces, which is disappointing. I'm looking into other products to see if I can find something that works better. As I mentioned, personally I feel like something's missing, but it seems to be the best-selling option at Olive Young.

With about 100 patches in a pack, it lasts forever, and I love that it comes in both large and small sizes so I can choose the right one for each spot. When I use it for a day or two after treating a breakout, the healing process is noticeably faster. Compared to other patches, the adhesion is decent, but it tends to lose its grip when you sweat or get it wet. I reach for acne patches pretty regularly because whenever a breakout pops up, touching it or using certain products tends to make it worse or stick around longer. Most patches I've tried have madecassoside, centella asiatica, or houttuynia cordata as their star ingredients, but since tea tree really works for my skin, I was thrilled to find this one combines tea tree with centella! The patch itself is thinner than typical ones, so it's way less noticeable when I wear it. I also love that it comes in two sizes—big and small—so I can pick the right fit depending on my blemish. Some patches completely lift off during makeup application, but this one has solid adhesion that actually holds up, which I really appreciate. It's fantastic at calming irritation, and while I didn't see scars disappear overnight, it definitely minimizes how long they stick around. Honestly, I think it works better for me than other houttuynia patches I've tried. It's a clean, straightforward spot patch that's perfect for everyday use, and I'm genuinely happy with it. The main thing is the price point. It's so thin and transparent that you barely notice it's there. It protects your wound while blocking bacteria from getting in, and it applies beautifully over makeup too! I really appreciate how affordable this is compared to other products, so I can use it generously without worrying. I typically apply the patch to sudden large pimples or ones that have grown because I missed treating them early. When I change it regularly over several days and keep it on continuously, the blemishes seem to flatten out noticeably. It used to work better in the past, but lately it doesn't seem to reduce blemishes as quickly. The texture is thick and sticky, and even though it claims to be waterproof, when I wash my face or rinse it off, it dissolves and leaves behind residue like gunk that I have to pick off. For pimples that are just starting to form, I apply an acne treatment, and for sudden large inflamed pimples or ones that have grown because I missed the early stage, I usually use a patch. I just keep the patch on until the blemish shrinks and flattens out completely.
