I remember loving the scent - it felt fresh and clean, and absorbed into my skin really quickly Pustular acne started appearing on my face. After my skin barrier recovered, I bought this toner and emulsion set together to help prevent excess oil and breakouts. My skin completely flared up after just one day. Interestingly, when I applied it to my body, there were no issues, and I actually noticed some improvement with my back acne, so it does seem effective for acne in general. However, I really can't recommend this to anyone dealing with a compromised skin barrier - it completely broke down my barrier and caused major irritation. I've gone through several bottles of this and it's my holy grail emulsion. Even though I have combination skin, it feels hydrating when I apply it but finishes with a fresh, clean feel. Absolutely love it! If you have dry skin, you might find it doesn't provide enough moisture. It applies so smoothly and feels amazing on my skin. Since this is a lightweight moisturizer, if you have very dry skin, you might want to layer it with another product for extra nourishment.
