This is my holy grail concealer! I've tried so many concealers that are famous for covering freckles and scars, but Catrice is the one that's stayed in my routine. It's incredibly affordable too, but what really gets me is how lightweight it feels. I've used plenty of concealers before, and even the liquid ones feel dewy when you apply them, but then they dry down and leave this heavy, grainy feeling on your skin that makes everything feel suffocating and uncomfortable. This one is different though—once it sets, it clings to your skin so naturally and weightlessly. I absolutely love it! When I was shopping in stores, I was disappointed that the darkest shade available was only 020. Also, while the coverage is pretty good for how lightweight it is, if you're just looking at coverage alone, the heavier formulas definitely perform better. What I do is apply it, wait a moment for it to sink into my skin slightly, then use a sponge to blend it out. After that, I spray a setting spray and let it dry completely before doing the rest of my makeup. This technique makes my base last so much longer!

Since the skin under my eyes is delicate and prone to creasing, I really appreciate how smoothly this concealer glides on and how hydrating it feels. I bought a highlighter in a shade brighter than my skin tone, thinking it would really pop, but honestly it turned out to be pretty subtle and wearable The coverage isn't quite strong enough if you're trying to conceal dark circles

That's why I use this one exclusively for dark circles and reach for a different concealer when I need to cover acne or other blemishes. Here's my application tip: I use a concealer brush (I actually use a lip brush from the drugstore) to apply this. I dab a small amount of the concealer from the stick onto the back of my hand, then pick it up with my brush so I can control the amount better. Then I gently blend it across my dark circle areas. The coverage is absolutely amazing, and the scent is so gentle and lovely. I'm really obsessed with it! I barely get any breakouts either - it's fantastic! This product does a great job covering up blemishes and imperfections, and the staying power is impressive too! I tested out this concealer from Lala Blah for my interview makeup to cover up some stubborn skin issues, and I loved it so much that I ended up buying my own bottle! ★ Coverage My skin has been through the wringer with lack of sleep, stress, and too much greasy food, but honestly, this concealer's coverage is absolutely incredible. Sure, there are some famous brands out there, but this one covers blemishes just as beautifully! You really need to see the before-and-after photos to truly appreciate how well it works. ★ Staying Power I've only used stick concealers before, so this liquid formula was totally new to me. The liquid texture seems to adhere so much better than stick formulas. Even when I splash water on it, it doesn't run off like a mess, and it doesn't crease or smudge when I blend it out. When I use a brush or other applicator to blend it, it spreads even more smoothly. ★ Product Amount You only need a tiny bit to cover your entire face. The brush picks up so much product with each dip that I honestly thought I was using a foundation instead of a concealer! One more thing I love is that even though a little bit of product gets on the cap every time I close it, the lid has such a clever design that nothing leaks out. Application Experience Since this was my first time using a silicone brush and liquid concealer, I'm not entirely sure, but when I apply it with the brush, it feels a bit dry and like something's missing. I found myself wondering if I need to find a different brush or tool. The application experience just didn't feel quite right. I originally bought the silicone brush because it's so easy to clean, but it doesn't seem to work well with this concealer. Another minor complaint is that quite a bit of product gets on the outside of the cap every time I use it. Eventually, I'll probably need to wipe it clean each time. Try using a different tool instead of the silicone brush. Make sure your base is well-hydrated, and only pick up a tiny amount of product to get the coverage you want. My skin tone is actually lighter than the 21 shade, so I was hoping to get something even lighter than Light Beige, but unfortunately it was out of stock. Still, this shade works pretty well for me. Since the product settles into fine lines, double cleansing is absolutely essential. Otherwise, it'll get trapped in your pores and your skin will suffer.
