I'm really disappointed with this one. I can't recommend it to anyone. Overall, it just didn't work for me. The scent isn't appealing to me, and the formula inside feels a bit harsh. Instead of feeling refreshing, it actually stings. I absolutely loved how hydrating this is! The generous amount of essence really makes a difference. There's something about the kelp extract that makes me feel like the results are even more impressive! The scent is quite strong, and I have to admit I'm not a fan of the oceanic smell. I got used to it by just holding my nose while applying, so it wasn't a dealbreaker. Skin concerns: dryness, breakouts, acne, contact dermatitis, enlarged pores I've been curious about kelp sheet masks for a while, especially since they've been getting so much buzz lately. Then I saw a TV program talking about how kelp masks are great for troubled skin and lifting, so I decided to give them a try. If you're sensitive to fragrance, you might not love this one. It's a mix of ocean scent, kelp aroma, and essence fragrance. The essence feels so hydrating! And honestly, it adheres to your face way better than I expected! It really does help with breakouts. They don't completely disappear, but the inflammation seems to calm down instead of getting worse. Check out the before and after photos to see the difference in breakout size! I wish it didn't have such a strong scent. That said, the results are good enough that I'll probably keep using it occasionally. The price is a bit steep though. I'd recommend stocking up during sales. On the TV program, they mentioned that kelp masks don't stick well on their own, so they used honey and bandages to help keep them in place. They also suggested using a fork to gently score the kelp to release more of the beneficial essence, which sounds like something worth trying!

The essence is packed in generously, so my skin felt incredibly hydrated and moisturized. I was disappointed with how the kelp mask adhered to my skin. It kept slipping off too easily, which made it impossible to do anything else while wearing it. I guess it would work okay if you just lie down and stay still the whole time.
