I was worried about it being a stick formula, but it's actually quite moisturizing. It feels wonderful when I apply it. Compared to a cream you apply with your fingers, this stick takes a bit longer to fill in all the gaps and blend evenly.

There's not much to complain about, but given the stick format, the product amount feels a bit limited. It does seem to deplete fairly quickly. I apply this regularly to the delicate areas around my eyes, forehead, and the lines between my nose and mouth to prevent wrinkles from forming. It feels gentle on my skin without any irritation, doesn't leave that tight, uncomfortable feeling, and the moisturizing benefits really last throughout the day. It's especially wonderful to use during winter when my skin needs extra care. Is the amount a bit small? Honestly, I can't think of anything I'm unhappy about. It's perfect for applying anywhere without worrying about precision. Use it around your eyes, on your lips as a lip balm substitute, and so much more. Since it comes in stick form, dust tends to stick to it while you're using it, so you'll need to wipe it clean frequently.

When I first applied it, I thought it was too greasy, but now that winter's here, I find myself reaching for it constantly throughout the day. Whenever my skin feels a bit tight, I just smooth it on and it glides beautifully, leaving my skin feeling wonderfully hydrated. I'd love to use it on my lips too, but the taste isn't pleasant so I have to be careful. Without a sale, it's really quite expensive. It's a great buy when it goes on sale for around ten dollars.

I think I'm going to stick with this balm. It has all the great ingredients of the original Madeca cream, but it's so much more convenient to carry around. I love that the formula is clean and dye-free. I apply it like a protective coating before bed, and my skin feels beautifully hydrated the next morning. Honestly, there's nothing I'd change. I just wish they'd promote this product more aggressively. One heads-up though: it does go pretty quickly because of the stick format. Apply it all over your face whenever you need a moisture boost. The application is smooth and convenient, and it does seem to have a subtle effect on fine lines. For the price, it's definitely worth it. I have sensitive skin that only breaks out on my chin, and honestly, my forehead usually stays clear. But after applying this between my brows, I woke up the next day with a breakout. I got curious about the ingredients and looked them up, and sure enough, there were two problematic components in the formula. I think this would work better for neck lines and hand wrinkles instead.
