A gentle, hydrating toner essence without irritation. Since I regularly use exfoliating toners, I don't typically reach for absorbing toners. But on those extra dry days like we've been having, I do like to layer one on for that extra boost. The texture sits right in the middle—thicker than water but lighter than a traditional essence. Because of that, it absorbs quickly and doesn't leave any sticky residue, which I really appreciate. With toner essences, it's hard to expect much beyond hydration, so this one delivered exactly what I needed: moisture and nothing more. The best part is I haven't experienced any irritation or adverse reactions at all. Since this is marketed as an essence treatment, I was hoping it would enhance absorption in the next steps of my routine. Unfortunately, the results weren't as noticeable as I'd hoped, which was a bit disappointing. The affordable price point makes it easy to choose, and since it's said to help with brightening and reducing fine lines, I think it'll be great to use consistently. It feels so hydrating and absorbs really well into the skin. It's a shame you can't see through the container, but since the formula is lightweight, I think I'll be able to use every last drop by shaking it out. That said, I wish it had a thicker consistency so it wouldn't flow out so easily. My husband suggested I try it, and I've been using it for almost two months now. I'd say it's somewhere between an essence and a toner in terms of texture. Since my skin is on the dry side, I found that I need to apply a generous amount to really feel the benefits. The hydration isn't as strong as I expected. When I use just this product alone, I do feel some tightness on my skin. On the bright side, I didn't experience any breakouts. For the price, I wish the moisturizing power was a bit stronger. The application is absolutely fantastic - it spreads so smoothly and evenly that it feels wonderful on the skin. The absorption is excellent, and once it sets, your complexion looks absolutely flawless and radiant. I have oily skin, and this product is genuinely perfect for me. I wouldn't say I don't recommend it. Why wouldn't you buy it? I do get some minor breakouts, but they're definitely less frequent than before. This product feels so hydrating and satisfying. After cleansing, just applying this alone keeps my skin from feeling dry. The toner has a slightly thick consistency, so it might not be everyone's cup of tea.
