I love that it comes with a brush that's perfect for warm tones, and the shimmer is beautifully fine and delicate Cleaning the brush is such a hassle. Honestly, that's really the only downside I can find

Since it's such a famous product, I just had to try it. The color is absolutely gorgeous and looks so natural! I'm a big fan of blushes with subtle shimmer, and when you apply this one carefully, it catches the light beautifully just like a MAC eyeshadow. The packaging is so charmingly Japanese too, making it perfect as a souvenir or gift for friends without feeling like you're spending too much. The included brush is pretty much useless. Your fingers honestly blend better. The staying power is disappointing. Once you put on a mask, it's basically gone. Without the shimmer, there's really nothing special about it. If you don't care about the sparkle, you might as well grab something from a budget store. The powder fallout is seriously excessive. It clumps up way too easily and sticks to your base, making blending incredibly difficult. You really need some technique to make this work. It's not worth making a special trip to Japan just for this. I've seen it out of stock at shops near tourist areas anyway, so there's no need to hunt it down. Korean brands have equally beautiful options. Here's a helpful tip: for delicate products like this that break easily, try placing a small ziplock bag with a cotton pad or two inside your makeup pouch before adding the product. This cushions it and prevents breakage. My old blush broke, so I picked up this one while I was in Japan. It's super affordable at under 5,000 won and comes with a built-in brush, which is so convenient. I always make sure to pack it when I travel. I have warm undertones and darker skin, and the color looks absolutely perfect on me. I've been using it consistently for a whole year now and I'm really happy with it. I wish the floral design on top of the product wouldn't fade away. I absolutely love the color, and I buy this every time I go to Japan! The downside is the brush sheds quite a bit. After one application, I end up with loose bristles all over my face, which is frustrating. But the color is so pretty that I can't bring myself to stop using it. I think it would work much better if you use a different brush instead of the one that comes with it!
