I use this on my 22-month-old baby and occasionally on myself too. It applies smoothly, and while there is a slight shine, it's really not noticeable enough to be bothersome! I haven't found any downsides yet. No matter which sunscreen I try, I always need to use a gentle baby cleanser to remove it anyway, so I'm happy with this one.

The best part is that the UV protection kicks in immediately when you apply it, which is perfect for those hectic mornings. Plus, it hydrates really well—way better than I expected—so my skin doesn't feel tight or parched at all. The downside of mineral formulas is the trade-off with spreadability and that white cast, which honestly seems unavoidable. What really bothered me though is that I developed a red bump or irritation every single day I used this product, so I had to stop. If this works for your skin, it could be a great option. I really appreciate how gentle this product is - it doesn't feel irritating at all, which makes it a great choice for my skin. Even though it's supposed to be an easy cleanser, I still need to do a second cleanse because the first wash doesn't remove everything properly.

How I chose my sunscreen by comparing ingredients: 1. Zinc oxide only - mineral sunscreen, non-nano 2. Sun protection factor SPF50+ PA++++ 3. Non-comedogenic Beyond zinc oxide, I excluded any ingredients with questionable safety concerns, so I felt confident this sunscreen was safe enough to purchase. While it appears to be marketed for babies, I think it's also perfect for adults with sensitive skin. Even though it's a mineral zinc oxide sunscreen, it's the least white-cast product I've tried, and the application is incredibly smooth. Since the non-nano particles don't get absorbed, they won't clog your pores either. Although it's advertised as easy to wash off, I felt residue left behind and had to cleanse twice, but I still noticed buildup remaining on my skin. It seems like double cleansing with a cleansing oil or milk is absolutely necessary. I haven't tested it with a base makeup, but I suspect it could cause pilling. I love that this sunscreen washes off with just water. Other products that aren't water-removable require me to use cleansing oil too, but this one is so convenient to apply daily and rinse away! It's especially perfect for days when I'm staying indoors and don't need to go out. There is a slight white cast, but it blends into a natural brightening effect, so it's totally fine. The texture feels a bit dry when applying. When I use it on areas with breakouts, the dryness makes my skin feel sensitive and irritated. I've been searching for a gentle product that hydrates without leaving any greasy residue, and this is exactly what I needed!!!! I've tried so many brands, but this one has the perfect texture and finish I was looking for. My skin has improved so much! There's really nothing to complain about!!! The product amount is generous, and when you catch it on sale, the price is incredibly fair.
