Honestly, it doesn't feel that different from a regular conditioner. Here's my main issue: I wash my hair every other day, but this product makes my hair get greasy way too fast. When I wash in the afternoon, my hair usually stays fresh until the next afternoon, but with this, I'm already dealing with greasiness and itching by the next evening. After sleeping, it gets even worse. That's almost a full day difference in how quickly my hair gets oily, not just a few hours. I think this really depends on your scalp and hair type. I can't recommend it for oily hair, unfortunately. On the bright side, the color-safe shampoo was great, but I got a sample from that store with an expiration date that was way too close, so my impression of the brand isn't the best right now. I'm sure it works well for some people, and the product itself isn't bad. The texture is fine and the scent is pleasant.

If you have frizzy, thick, or long, dry hair, this is absolutely worth trying. It's the affordable option from the Italian brand Davines, so you're getting quality without breaking the bank. Most of the moisturizing ingredients are just glycerin and silicone oils. While the formula creates a protective moisture barrier, it doesn't actually deliver as much nourishment as you might hope for. It's really more of a straightforward daily conditioner for dry or thick hair that needs hydration and smoothness rather than a deeply nourishing treatment. That said, for a basic daily conditioner, the price point feels pretty steep. It's not the best fit if you have an oily scalp, if your hair is so damaged it needs intensive treatment every single day, or if you're specifically looking for silicone-free products.
