If you have a cool summer skin tone and love that ultra-cool pink shade with a matte finish, I'd definitely recommend this! It looks absolutely gorgeous when you layer it with a gloss on top. I did notice a bit of texture showing through, and it does feel a little drying on me. Plus, the color is pretty saturated, so I'm using it more as an accent rather than a full lip look—just a tiny amount does the trick.

I trusted Chanel's lip products from Melodious and decided to repurchase this shade. However, the color leans heavily toward hot pink, so if you don't have a cool undertone, this shade will look out of place on you. If you have a warm undertone instead of cool, this color will make your lips stand out in an unflattering way. The case is gorgeous, but here's the thing—you have to press that gold Chanel logo part to get the lipstick out. The problem is, when I'm carrying it in my bag, that gold part sometimes gets pressed accidentally by other items bumping against it. This is honestly the biggest drawback for me. 1. Color payoff I haven't officially had my skin tone analyzed, but I'm pretty sure I'm cool-toned! This is such a gorgeous pale pink with a hint of white. I was worried it wouldn't suit me since it was a gift, but it actually brightens my whole face! 2. Longevity My natural lip color is basically nonexistent, and this shade really lasts! I don't usually like applying lipstick heavily, so I just do a light swipe or two, and it stays put throughout the day—unless I'm eating, of course. 3. Finish: Dewy or matte? It's right in the middle! If I had to break it down, I'd say it's about 60% dewy and 40% matte. I'm not a fan of matte finishes, but this one works beautifully for me. 4. Packaging The case screams luxury! It has this satisfying click when you press it and the color pops right out. The black and gold combination is absolutely stunning. Honestly, there's barely any variety... I really wish there were more options! Since they only have pink shades, this one is just my second choice when cherry red is my absolute favorite. Plus, on days when my complexion isn't looking its best, this shade just doesn't work for me at all. Pro tip: Instead of filling your entire lips, try applying it gently just to the inner part of your lips for a more flattering look!
