It applies so smoothly. Since I have a deeper skin tone, bright and pale pink shades don't really work for me. This one has a beautifully saturated red tone that looks stunning on me. The finish has a natural luminosity to it. My lips aren't particularly dry, so I can usually pull off matte lipsticks just fine, but this one is surprisingly moisturizing. Because it's such a hydrating formula, I think anyone would find it easy and comfortable to wear. Since it's Chanel, the price is definitely steep. I love how smoothly this applies without emphasizing dry patches. I used to always apply a lip balm first before putting on lipstick, but this glides on so moisturizing that I don't even need the base layer anymore. The staying power isn't quite there. The packaging is absolutely gorgeous! The formula feels so hydrating and applies beautifully. The staying power isn't the strongest, but you can easily touch it up throughout the day. My only concern is that the shade runs a bit too deep for my skin tone, so it doesn't quite work for me. I have a deep undertone with a lighter complexion, and the color just stands out too much on my lips. I'm thinking of giving it to my mom instead. It's disappointing, but I'd definitely recommend swatching it in person before you buy to make sure the shade works for your skin. This product is absolutely stunning, and the application is flawless! It goes on so smoothly no matter how I apply it, and it feels incredibly comfortable on my skin. I never leave home without it! The 144 Mauve shade is gorgeous, and the Jure is beautiful too. If you have deep undertones, the new 176 shade that just came out is genuinely stunning. The formula feels incredibly lightweight and comfortable on the lips. 3. The color payoff is so subtle and dewy, like your lips are holding water, and it's honestly just absolutely gorgeous. 4. While it has that soft, hydrating finish, the staying power is actually better than expected. 5. This coral shade seems to be such a safe, flattering choice that even warm-toned skin tones can't go wrong with it. * I loved the color payoff on so many of the other shades too, so I definitely want to try different colors next time. Even though the price is steep, I'm so satisfied that I'd honestly skip all my other lip products and stick with just this one until I find something more affordable. I'm definitely planning to repurchase. 1. If I find an affordable option that satisfies me just as well, I wouldn't want to spend this much money on this product. 2.
