This product doesn't irritate my skin at all, and after rinsing with water, my skin feels incredibly smooth and soft. The cleansing power is great too, and it doesn't sting my eyes. If you're looking for a gentle, non-irritating cleanser like I was, I highly recommend it! I used to have some misconceptions about skincare and was obsessed with removing every trace of makeup and impurities to keep my skin perfectly clean. I was doing double cleansing with cleansing oil and foam every single day, but it turned out to be terrible for my skin. Cleansing itself can strip your skin, and when your skin barrier weakens, it becomes prone to breakouts. My dermatologist explained that oil dissolves oil, so for someone with naturally dry skin like me, using cleansing oil actually makes the skin even drier. That's when I switched to cleansing milk or gel cleansers. Now I do just one cleanse and follow up with a slightly acidic, gentle product. This one is a gel-to-oil formula, so I do worry a bit about whether long-term use might compromise my skin barrier. But honestly, after rinsing, I don't feel any dryness at all—my skin feels hydrated and incredibly soft instead. It seems like the price goes up almost every year. It's already so expensive, and last year it was around 130,000 won, but now it's jumped to 150,000 won this year. The annual price increase makes it really hard to commit to this product as a regular purchase. The Sublimage line is absolutely amazing, but it's incredibly pricey. The reason Sublimage is so expensive is because of the Planifolia ingredient. The gel formula is thicker and more substantial than a liquid or oil cleanser, so you need to apply extra pressure when spreading it on and massaging it into your skin, which can potentially irritate sensitive areas. Removing eye makeup requires more vigorous rubbing. While it does clean everything, if you don't thoroughly massage around the sides of your nose, some foundation residue can remain.
