While it doesn't deliver dramatic visible results for the price, it's a solid, reliable option. It won't transform your skin, but it's great for maintaining what you already have. Depending on what you layer over this serum, it can sometimes pill or flake off. That said, using just this serum generously in summer leaves my skin feeling dry quickly. Even though the surface feels smooth and plump, there's definitely dehydration underneath. Honestly, if you're using a basic serum anyway, I think Caudalie offers better value for money. I've only tried Bioderma, Caudalie, and Chantecaille serums my whole life, so I can't give you a fair comparison with other brands. Sorry about that! My skin is dry both on the surface and deep down. This serum has a rich formula, and even though it's oil-free, it takes care of my skin from the outside in. I'm really impressed! On days when I don't want to layer anything else, this serum alone keeps my skin feeling hydrated and comfortable without any tightness. I've only used one bottle so far, so I can't speak to the lifting effects yet, but my skin texture has definitely improved. This is my holy grail serum. I'd love to make this my holy grail serum, but the price tag is pretty steep. Even when I factor in department store promotions or free gifts, the cost still feels shocking. Even if you have dry skin, during summer you can just use a toner and serum and you're good to go!
