I started with Chantecaille's healing mask and have been trying out their entire basic skincare line. Of course I picked up this product too! This Chantecaille product is so famous it ranks in the top 7 of their line, and even though I'm a devoted Chantecaille fan, this one just isn't doing it for me. Amazing! I usually skip heavy makeup and just stick with sunscreen, maybe adding a gel-type concealer on my dark spots. But this product? I find myself reaching for it constantly. It's seriously like a hydrating veil - that transparent rosy shimmer is so subtle yet luminous, giving the most gorgeous soft glow. I'm obsessed! The moisture, the feel, the color, the texture - everything is absolutely perfect! It's flawless except for one thing - you need to be careful with how much you dispense since it comes in a jar. Even when I apply a matte foundation on top and set it with finishing powder, this subtle inner glow still comes through. I'm someone who really dislikes that dewy, glossy shine, but this feels like my skin's natural radiance and texture shining through—exactly what I want. Honestly, there's nothing bad about it. It doesn't shift or move around, and when I apply just a small amount, it blends seamlessly into my skin. I don't have any trouble controlling my foundation or cushion compact over it afterward. Since I have combination skin, I've noticed that a matte foundation works better with this product than a dewy one does. This product creates the most beautiful, luminous glow on my skin. Honestly, it's amazing. My complexion feels clear and breathable, and I haven't experienced any breakouts (you can tell just by looking at the ingredients). A tiny amount, about the size of a pea, is enough to cover my entire face. Because it's so concentrated, even though the size is small, I'll be using this for ages. I might not be able to put it into perfect words, but I can genuinely feel how good this is working for my skin. I simply can't imagine my routine without this product. The price. Wow, I've complained about the cost so much I'm tired of even mentioning it anymore. But here's the thing—it's so incredibly effective and irresistible that I end up buying it anyway, no matter what. I can mix just a tiny bit into anything—whether I blend it with other products or use it as a primer first. No matter how I apply it, it doesn't change the texture of my other products or cause any pilling or separation. It plays beautifully with everything.

The refreshing cooling sensation paired with a natural glow is amazing. If you have a bright complexion and minimal pores, this alone looks beautiful on the skin. I personally use this as a makeup primer before applying my foundation. Applying this alone might emphasize your pores. If you have visible pores, layer your foundation on top for better coverage. I've tried mixing this with foundation and applying them together, but I found that using this as a base first and then layering the foundation on top works so much better. It minimizes pore visibility and looks more natural on my skin. Now when I use just foundation without this primer, my complexion looks dull and flat. I'm definitely keeping this in my routine.
