I love that once this wrapping mask sets, I can dry my hair and do other things without worrying about it. Plus, it provides nice hydration! Right after using it, my skin feels a bit glossy, but when I do my makeup the next day, it's not shiny at all! I've noticed my makeup applies so smoothly the day after using this. It takes quite a while to work. My skin feels incredibly firm and bouncy. The scent is really pleasant too. It seems to really help boost elasticity and give my skin that lifted, toned appearance I've been looking for. The best thing about this product: After you apply it and wait about 10 minutes for it to dry, you can actually get things done while it works! I decided to buy this during a time when I suddenly felt like my skin looked tired and dull—not necessarily breaking out, but just feeling depleted and uninspired. I was stressed at the time, so I impulsively grabbed it one day. It's perfect when you want to give your skin some extra attention. I don't do it every day because that feels like too much of a hassle—I use it about twice a week instead. The amount you get is a bit modest for the price, so you need to apply a generous layer to really see results. I wash my face in the evening, apply it, wait for it to dry, and then I can go dry my hair. I'm not sure how much it actually helps with fine lines and pores, but it's definitely better than doing nothing. I was looking for a retinol product anyway, so this was a great find. It's easy to incorporate into my routine. When it goes on sale later, I'll probably grab it again if I remember! You have to leave it on for a long time—about 30 minutes. On a tiring evening, that's honestly pretty tough. It's not realistic to do this every single day, and even twice a week feels like I'm being really diligent. When I first apply it, it feels refreshing. After I remove it, there's a slight shine, but it's less noticeable than the glow I get from my skincare routine. It's difficult to apply evenly. The thicker areas take forever to dry while the thinner spots dry too quickly and feel tight. This makes removal really tricky. I want to peel it off when it's dry, but the thick patches won't set properly, so they won't come off... Even the parts that do dry are only dry on the surface while underneath stays moist and uncomfortable. Bottom line: it feels great at first, but as it dries out more, my skin becomes increasingly sensitive. I started getting some breakouts, more redness, and a slight stinging sensation. Apply a generous amount in a thick layer. Yes, you'll go through it quickly, but honestly, only use this if you're good at applying products evenly. It's like achieving that coveted glass skin glow! - Pores appear noticeably minimized, at least temporarily! - You can apply a thin layer and still get great results, plus it peels off cleanly without any hassle! - Don't expect a hydrating sensation—it actually feels quite drying. This might be because I applied it to bare skin without any prep. If you have dry skin, you might find this a bit too parching. - The application texture leaves something to be desired! It doesn't glide on smoothly; instead, it feels stiff and patchy. It also doesn't spread evenly across your face. If you use a brush, it's even harder to blend, so I'd recommend using your fingers instead!
