The formula has a nice fluid consistency, but it's not watery at all. There's actually a subtle sticky feel to it that I really appreciate. It's a bit pricey, and since the formula isn't completely liquid-like, I feel hesitant to use it as a spot treatment because it seems too precious to waste. This has a lightweight, watery texture that feels just like a toner. I've noticed my complexion looks brighter and more radiant. I'll need to use it for longer to see the full results. When I use this instead of an emulsion, my skin feels quite dry. I've had to apply an additional emulsion on top to keep my skin hydrated.

It has a concentrated emulsion-like texture, but when applied, it feels refreshingly light. I think it might work even better as an essence rather than a traditional toner, but honestly, I'm too lazy to switch it up. So I just stick with using it as a toner. The hydration level is absolutely fantastic, which I really appreciate. Especially after showering, it gives such a moisture-rich feeling that I love. If you're someone who dislikes the hassle of multi-step routines, this product alone should give you plenty of satisfaction. Just smooth it on with your fingers and you're good to go. Overall, I'm really happy with it and keep using it. I love that this toner has essence benefits and absorbs beautifully without feeling heavy on the skin. The texture feels so hydrating and comfortable to use. The formula is quite thin, so it tends to spill when I pour it into my palm, which is frustrating. I love using this in the evening after cleansing—it leaves my skin feeling so refreshed and clean! It does an amazing job wiping away any leftover makeup residue. Honestly, this is the perfect exfoliating toner for me! Just make sure to follow up quickly with a serum or essence afterward, since it can be a bit drying on its own. The only downside is that the container isn't transparent, so you can't really tell how much product is left inside. Pro tip: Apply this to a cotton pad and use it as an exfoliating toner. You'll get a much better deal if you pick it up at duty-free shops!

Since I've been loyal to Clinique's basic skincare for over 10 years, this one worked really gently on my skin too. It's been a while since I've used a liquid toner, and even though it's not a dropper bottle, it just flows right off my palm before I can even close the cap. And sometimes there's this weird smell to it. Other than that, it's fine! If you pat it in to help it absorb, it works amazingly well.
