I've been mixing black brown and muted brown together, and I have to say, the black brown is definitely softer and more natural-looking than a pure black or brown alone. It's exactly the shade I've been searching for, so I'm using it consistently. Regular brown didn't suit me, and straight black felt too harsh and intimidating. This product was absolutely perfect for what I needed. I'm absolutely in love with this eyeliner! Since the formula is slightly thicker, just one gentle stroke is enough to get the look I want. When I blend it nicely with eyeshadow, it never smudges at all. I've never had to do any eyeliner touch-ups, which is amazing! There's really nothing disappointing about it. I'm so satisfied with this product. I love how this pencil liner doesn't break easily and glides on so smoothly and effortlessly, just like a proper pencil liner should! I've been using it for a year now and it performs consistently well. • Purchased with my own money - honest review • Applies smoothly and doesn't irritate my skin • I kept not getting callbacks for interviews, so I went to a makeup counter and they used this product on me • It's a sophisticated black-brown shade • Made in Germany • Creates a beautiful makeup look • No downsides at all, and I wish they'd include an extra refill • The makeup artist at the counter mentioned that since I don't have a natural eyelid crease, the product tends to fade easily. So they applied a setting product with a cotton swab first, then the liner, and finished with another layer of setting product on a cotton swab. If deep black feels too intense for you, I'd definitely recommend Clio Extreme Black Brown Eyeliner. I've settled on this one myself. The application is so smooth! Right after you draw the line, before it dries, just gently smudge it with your fingernail and it looks beautifully blended. Even with my monolid eyes, it's super easy to apply. If you catch it on sale at Yesstyle, you can grab it at a great price! It was fine when I first opened it, but after a while the tip kept breaking. That was really frustrating!

I've been using Clio's thin gel pencil liner for ages, but I decided to give this one a try and I'm really impressed! It glides on so smoothly and applies beautifully. This is the best gel eyeliner ever. Zero smudging whatsoever. Even on oily eyelids or creased double eyelids, it applies with stunning clarity and precision. I was honestly shocked at how it didn't budge even on rainy, humid days, and it wipes away cleanly with cleansing oil. Plus, the tip is thin but incredibly sturdy and doesn't break easily. Seriously, everyone should get this! No downsides at all. There are so many great things to say about it that I could go on forever, and it goes on sale regularly too, which is fantastic! Choosing the right shade is important. Color: In the swatches from top to bottom, we have Clio Gel Presso, Kiss Me Liquid Eyeliner in Romance Brown, and Clio Sharp So Simple in Brown. The shade is genuinely a rich dark brown tone. It's not quite black. Application: The application is really smooth and easy to work with. That said, there's a slightly creamy texture that might not be for everyone. You'll need a steady hand and a bit of technique to get a sharp, precise line. Longevity: I thought the creamy formula meant it wouldn't last long, but I was pleasantly surprised. It actually stays put really well throughout the day and doesn't smudge or feather. Because of the creamy texture, it does feel like it runs out quickly when you're using it.
