This was a budget-friendly product I tried before splurging on Shu Uemura's Chic Pink. Honestly, I'm not sure what the standout features are. It's basically just a pink lipstick with cool, bluish undertones. The formula felt incredibly dry, and the pink shade has that ashy, cool-toned quality that didn't work as well as I hoped. I absolutely loved this product and I'm so disappointed it's been discontinued! The matte finish looks amazing without feeling dry at all. The application is incredibly smooth and blends beautifully. The color is just perfect too... True to Mad Matte Lip form, this has excellent spreadability and stays put beautifully. The color is such a unique plum-rose shade with a sophisticated tone that I've even used it as a base for other lip looks. I bought this product because everyone kept raving about the muted tone, but honestly it's much deeper than I expected, so it's become more of a special occasion piece. That said, if you love deeper shades, I'd definitely recommend it. It's perfect for fall and winter looks. The color...? I bought it because everyone said it was good.... The application isn't great and the shade is disappointing. It's way too deep for my light undertone

I decided to buy it because the color and application were exactly what I wanted I didn't realize my lips were sensitive, but whether it was due to low immunity lately or not, after applying this product my lips started itching and became inflamed. Now I'm using medication and can't wear any lip color products at all
