First, because the color selection is so soft and everyday-focused, if you're looking to create bold, dramatic eye makeup, it might feel a bit underwhelming. The shimmer shades are also quite subtle, so if you're craving that glamorous, sparkly glitter effect, you might find them a little lacking. While the matte colors are beautifully smooth, the very light shades can blend too closely with your skin tone, which sometimes makes the color payoff feel weak. When you use those lighter shades alone, the depth of the look can get a bit lost... 1. Apply the base shade broadly and lightly! Use a large brush to sweep the lightest color across your lid—this helps the shading sit more naturally. 2. Define with the mid-tone matte shade on your lower lash line!
