This lip color is absolutely perfect for summer muted tones! Since it doesn't have too much gray undertone, I think it would work beautifully for lighter skin tones too. The plum shade isn't too deep, so even if you're usually hesitant about plum colors, this one feels really wearable and not overwhelming at all. I love that it doesn't dry out my lips! The downside is that since it's a matte formula, it does emphasize any dry patches or texture on the lips. That said, it doesn't actually make my lips feel parched. There is a bit of transfer, so you might notice some color coming off throughout the day. 1. Make sure to exfoliate your lips thoroughly before applying 2. Since I have a cool undertone, I was really wanting to try a plum lip like this. The color payoff on my lips is almost identical to the swatch on my wrist. The shade is absolutely gorgeous, and it looks even more beautiful in natural light. It's like a calm, everyday lip with just a hint of freshness mixed in? I'd describe it as a lovely, romantic lip color :) Since it's a lipstick, there's a bit of texture showing through. And the wear time isn't super long, but honestly, that's just something you have to accept with traditional lipsticks. The color is absolutely gorgeous, and I love the packaging design too. It has a beautiful matte finish without any shine, giving it such a clean and polished look. The product doesn't dispense all the way to the bottom. There's always about 2ml left that won't come out, so I have to be really careful when closing the cap. The color is absolutely gorgeous! It doesn't quite give off that plum vibe the name suggests, but honestly, the shade itself is really beautiful. That said, it's a bit tricky to wear on its own for cooler skin tones, but it works wonderfully as a base.
