You can feel how packed this is with essence the moment you open it! It gives your skin such a natural, healthy glow and really evens out your complexion beautifully. The luminous finish is absolutely gorgeous! It might be tricky to use during sweaty seasons, but for spring and fall, it's perfect for keeping your skin feeling dewy and refreshed! The amount can be a bit tricky to control, but once you get the hang of dispensing it carefully, it goes on thin and sheer with a really hydrating feel. That said, compared to matte cushions, the coverage isn't quite as strong. This powder is incredibly hydrating, so I think it would be perfect for anyone with dry skin. I have to be honest: the coverage is basically nonexistent. You really need to layer it with a concealer to get any real coverage. If I had to recommend the most hydrating and luminous cushion, CNP Mujigener Cushion would be my top pick without hesitation. Since I've been using the Mujigener Ampoule for quite a while, I had high expectations that the cushion would deliver the same level of hydration and soothing benefits. And it absolutely did! The formula has such a gel-like texture that it's incredibly moisture-rich. The hydration is seriously impressive and lasts throughout the day. Usually, hydrating cushions tend to slip around on the skin or look patchy, and when hydration is this high, darkening often follows. But this cushion barely darkens at all. Once it sets properly with a fixing spray, the wear time is really solid. Best of all, my skin feels so comfortable that even wearing a mask for extended periods doesn't cause any irritation or breakouts. Another amazing thing is how it creates that perfect dewy glow, making my skin look incredibly healthy and radiant. Plus, the hydration holds up beautifully, so it's become one of my go-to products through fall, winter, and spring. I usually go for a semi-matte finish, but ever since I started using this product, I can't stop reaching for that dewy glow! When I think about everything—the application, the lasting power, and how gentle it is on sensitive skin—this product really came out on top. My skin felt so comfortable and calm, with absolutely no irritation or reactivity whatsoever. The coverage is a bit disappointing for me. While it does a nice job evening out my skin tone, if you're looking to cover blemishes or scars, I'd recommend using a concealer alongside this cushion rather than relying on the cushion alone. When applying powder, use a brush or puff and gently tap it on with a light hand for the best results. No breakouts, no dryness, no congestion, and it's hard to find a base product with decent ingredients that also corrects skin tone and has decent staying power, but this one works great. The color is absolutely gorgeous. (I have the worst skin type - oily and combination with large pores, uneven skin tone, and breakouts. I wear makeup 365 days a year so I can't use harsh formulas.) And the fact that it has minimal malassezia-triggering ingredients for a makeup product is such a relief. It does photograph well, but that doesn't outweigh the drawbacks, and since I don't pay much attention to it anyway, it's fine because I can just tap it on again. The coverage isn't super heavy, but again, the positives make up for it. I'm shade 22 but chose 21. My skin is dry, but I only get oily on my nose - my forehead and cheeks stay completely matte. This shade gives me exactly half a shade lift. Shade 21 will look natural on you, while 22 definitely brightens things up. The formula is genuinely hydrating through and through. The coverage is fantastic too. When I apply it thin, it shears out nicely, but layering it builds up the coverage beautifully. The setting takes a bit longer, which is expected with such a dewy finish. After about 2 hours it's fully set, so even rubbing doesn't budge it. My skin feels so comfortable wearing this. (The photo shows two layers without any blending adjustments.) I also love that the compact mirror opens completely flat - it's so convenient. The snap closure on this compact only opens halfway, which honestly drives me crazy, but at least it's secure. Overall, this product is a winner. There's a slight darkening effect, so if you're using shade 21, you might notice it looks a bit darker. I'd recommend using a brighter concealer to highlight your forehead and under-eye area. The puff is quite thin. It picks up product well and releases it nicely. I loved how naturally it covers without feeling heavy. If you have sensitive skin, this would be absolutely perfect for you. It feels so hydrating and non-irritating, making it really easy to apply smoothly. I'm definitely repurchasing this, and I'd completely recommend it to anyone who loves that dewy, moisturized skin look or deals with sensitive skin. If you're looking for a matte finish instead, I wouldn't necessarily recommend this one for that purpose. Though you could always set it with powder at the end if you prefer.
