Skin Type: Dry and sensitive skin with redness I visited an esthetician, and when she touched my face, she was surprised by how much heat and inflammation my skin had. She recommended this skincare product to help calm things down! She also suggested a green calming gel, so I picked up both... but honestly, this gel starter is SO much better! Here's how I use it: I pump a little bit into my hand at the first step of my skincare routine and apply it as a light foam to my face. I layer it 2-3 times, and it feels incredibly hydrating and plumping every single time. I'm genuinely obsessed with this product! Application: It's not watery like some gels—it has more of a slightly thick, slippery texture. Even after it absorbs, it leaves a slightly tacky finish, which I actually love. Absorption: When I foam it up and apply it, it sinks in super fast! It melts right into the skin, but the hydration lasts for hours! If you have dry, sensitive skin like me, I absolutely recommend giving this a try! As you can see from the photos, the price is really steep for the amount you get. I mean, the product quality does justify the cost, so I'm not angry about it... but it's definitely a splurge. It's a bit of a bummer on the wallet.

When blemishes do appear, they take forever to fade, so my skin is definitely high-maintenance. I opened this product on January 21st and have been using it for nearly a month now. Even though it's a gentle, pH-balanced toner with intense hydration and nourishing benefits, I haven't experienced any breakouts at all. It tackles my inner dryness beautifully, and I'm absolutely thrilled with this toner. The price point is pretty steep at around 50,000 won for 200ml. I wish it were more affordable. Cosnafied products in general tend to be on the pricier side, which is really disappointing. On days when I only apply sunscreen, I gently cleanse with a cleansing milk and pat my skin dry before applying the gel starter right away. The hydration boost is immediate, leaving my skin feeling moisturized and clear without any irritation. The formula is light and fluid like an essence, making it so easy to apply and it feels incredibly hydrating. When I layered it as recommended, the moisture level was absolutely amazing. If I apply too many layers, it feels a bit sticky when it absorbs, which is a little odd. Since it's a toner, it works fine once I apply my essence and cream on top, but at first I was shocked because it felt so tacky that I thought I'd accidentally grabbed a cleansing foam instead. I just squeeze a small amount into my palm, smooth it on, gently pat it in to absorb, and do three layers. My skin stays hydrated all the way until the next day. I usually have really dry skin underneath the surface, so every morning I'd wake up with a shiny outer layer but my skin feeling tight and parched inside. It works wonderfully as a foaming toner. I can really feel it hydrating and moisturizing my skin nicely. The results didn't match the price tag. Honestly, I'd rather spend that money on a toner in the 20,000 won range instead. After trying various products, I finally found my holy grail. This one is so reliable and effortless—it's honestly addictive. Nothing else comes close. I really wish the packaging was different. Every time I scoop out the product, so much gets wasted stuck around the jar opening. It's such a shame. If you use it with a spatula or pump dispenser, you can better control how much you're using and avoid product drying out inside the container.

I was worried about it being a highly concentrated, nutrient-rich formula, but so far I haven't experienced any irritation. This is honestly the only toner that hasn't caused any breakouts on my skin. What really impressed me is that there's absolutely no stinging or burning sensation when I apply it - that alone deserves five stars! Since I've switched my entire skincare routine to Conapidil products, I've noticed my skin barrier feels noticeably stronger and more resilient. The price point is absolutely wild. I don't even know what else to say about it. At first, I felt like I'd discovered something amazing. Just using this product alone with a cream gave me such impressive hydration and moisture - my skin felt so nourished! During the dead of winter, it feels a bit dry on my skin. The absorption isn't as quick as I'd hoped.
