I really loved how this formula is lighter and more fluid compared to the original Green Barrier. It doesn't feel sticky at all and absorbs right into the skin beautifully. The cooling sensation when you apply it is fantastic - I think this would be perfect for calming irritated skin or bringing down skin temperature when needed! I was shocked when I opened it and saw how small the amount was... haha. I noticed this version feels noticeably more hydrating compared to the original green formula. It really calms and soothes my skin beautifully. It's perfect for using during the summer months. I didn't notice much of a difference between this and the original green formula, so when I compared the price and amount, I think I'll stick with the regular version next time instead of the stronger one. I apply the product right after cleansing without even drying my face completely, and it feels incredibly moisturizing and wonderful. My skin is really dry and dehydrated, but this absorbs so quickly and does an amazing job cooling down my face. I love that it's not sticky at all! I didn't have any major issues, but there's a slight medicinal scent? Kind of like a strong alcohol smell? Other than that, everything's great. When I first apply it, I get that strong medicinal vibe, but it fades after a bit. It's only noticeable right when I put it on. I kept reapplying it every 3 hours. That's what it took to keep the cooling sensation going.
