I saw so many posts on Instagram claiming this product eliminates acne scars when you extract and apply it, so I decided to give it a try. I found it through an app and got a nice discount on my purchase. I used it at home for self-extraction and found it worked better than acne patches. After getting professional extraction at an esthetics clinic and applying a thin layer of antibiotic ointment followed by this gel, the calming process definitely speeds up. That said, it doesn't completely prevent scarring from forming. The formula has a clear, ointment-like texture that's super easy to apply with a cotton swab. I gently layered it over the extracted areas. Since it applies like an ointment, it seems to last quite a while. I'm not sure if it's because of this product, but sometimes pus builds up again in areas where I've done self-extraction or had professional extraction done. Apply it as the final step after completing your skincare routine, then go to sleep. I have sensitive skin, so I tend to experience a lot of damage from sun exposure and water activities. That's why I'm always careful when choosing a repair cream after outdoor activities. I really loved that Pixi Care seemed to help soothe irritation, protect my skin, and create a protective barrier all at once! The only thing I wish was different is that while I was told this is meant to be used as a spot treatment, I would have appreciated a small spoon included in the jar to help me scoop out and apply the product more easily.
