Check out the texture in the photo. It has a clear, crystalline appearance. Since it's fragrance-free and colorless, it works beautifully alongside other scented products without any competing aromas getting in the way. The price keeps creeping up little by little. I use this product regularly whenever the weather gets hot. I had to repurchase it after the previous one expired. Even the mini size lasts me a long time. Once I apply it, I don't have to worry about sweat odor anymore. I experience a slight stinging sensation when I apply it sometimes. Definitely avoid using this right after hair removal. The store only sells this in bundles of two. Even one would last me ages, but since I plan to gift the other to a friend anyway, I go ahead and buy the set. There's no need to buy the larger size. Turns out you're supposed to apply it to damp skin. It's most convenient to apply right after showering when there's still moisture on my skin. Since sweat is something the body needs to release naturally, I'm skipping antiperspirants and just using this to keep odor at bay. I've only used it a couple of times so I can't say for sure yet, but it seems like it might actually be working—no odor so far. I have a feeling this bottle is going to last me a really long time. I'm honestly not sure yet. Can't tell if it's actually working or not. I've been using this since 2016, almost 10 years now, and it barely diminishes. The left is the original version and the right is the reformulated one. The stone-like texture finish is slightly rougher, but the odor-control performance is identical. 1. Fragrance Completely fragrance-free. Even though it contains alum, there's virtually no salty smell. This is a major advantage compared to other deodorants. Instead of masking sweat odor with fragrance, it works like an eraser that actually prevents sweat odor from forming in the first place. 2. Texture It's a solid, hard salt crystal block. It breaks if you drop it. When you touch it with bare hands, it's just a rock, but once you wet it, the salt solution glides on smoothly. You absolutely need water to use it. Sure, you could use it on sweaty skin, but for hygiene reasons, it's best to stick with water. 3. Feel on Skin No sensation at all. No powdery feel, no stickiness. That makes sense since it's basically salt and alum water. It dries quickly after application, though I'm usually too impatient to wait and just get dressed anyway. Even when I sweat, there are no visible marks on my black t-shirts. Since you're essentially applying salt and alum solution, even the smallest cut or scrape will sting quite a bit. Be careful! Also, the price has gotten out of hand. I used to buy it for about 6,000 won at Olive Young, but now it costs over 10,000 won. That's disappointing.
