Aside from zinc oxide, almost everything else is a hydrating ingredient, making it perfect for sensitive and dry skin types. Itching / Unpleasant odor / White cast The rich, moisturizing formula can feel itchy sometimes. Since it contains mineral filters, I'm worried it might feel dry during seasonal changes, but in summer the greasy feel is so uncomfortable that I can't use it. If it weren't for the smell, it would be decent, but the odor is really off-putting and keeps me from reaching for it. I wasn't impressed from the moment I opened it. It has that old-school mineral sunscreen smell, kind of musty and greasy, which I really don't like. I'd definitely buy this again. When I used it during summer, I never felt like my skin was lacking moisture. It's not as lightweight as a serum, and while there is some white cast, I actually thought it worked really well once I started using it. I didn't really have any complaints. I bought this after seeing it recommended on YouTube, and I'm already on my several bottles! I've completely settled on this sunscreen. Since I have dry skin, it works great even when I apply it before my cushion, and on days when I just want to wear sunscreen alone, it gives such a pretty brightening effect that I love it. Even though it's a mineral sunscreen, the texture feels amazing and it's gentle on sensitive skin. Honestly, among all the mineral sunscreens I've tried, this one has the best application feel. This product lasts so much longer than what I used before, and even during summer, it doesn't fade or smudge nearly as much from oils. I'm on my fourth tube of this sunscreen, and I have two more stocked up at home. This product is genuinely so gentle—even when my skin was dealing with irritation, it still worked well for me. It's a mineral formula with a really nice application, and it doesn't leave a chalky cast, so I apply it with a damp beauty sponge to prevent any patchiness. If you have dry skin, I seriously recommend using a water-dampened sponge. I also love that it has a slight white cast—I actually wanted a bit of that brightening effect, and this is absolutely perfect. It's not too white and gives such a pretty, natural finish! The makeup primer doesn't seem to work as well on its own. When I layer it with another primer product, it's fine, but if I just apply it with my fingers, it can feel a bit off and might leave some patchiness. Applying it with a damp beauty sponge is seriously amazing.
