My skin is really sensitive, so when my dermatologist recommended this Cell Fusion C product, I ended up going through several bottles because I used it for such a long time. The scent wasn't my favorite, but since it was gentle on my skin, I kept using it. However, after trying their Trouble Care line, I switched over to that instead because it worked better for my concerns. I have extremely sensitive skin, so finding products that work for me is nearly impossible. I've been using this for about 3 or 4 days now, and I haven't experienced any negative reactions like redness, stinging during cleansing, or eye discomfort. When I wash my face, it feels like the product gently cleanses without stripping away my skin's natural moisture. I did notice some slight texture on my forehead today, but I think that's just from the weather change after returning from a long trip to a hot climate back to autumn weather. I'm going to keep using it and see how it goes. The cleansing power seems pretty weak. I have oily skin, and the product doesn't remove oil very well. Even in the morning, I need to cleanse twice just to feel like the oil is gone, and in the evening, even two washes don't seem to do the trick. That said, I'm satisfied because it doesn't irritate my skin. Update: I'm not sure if it's the seasonal change, but after using it about 5 times, my face feels tight and the area under my nose feels stinging. When I switched back to my old La Roche-Posay Effaclar foaming cleanser, the stinging went away. My old product was discontinued, so I need to find a new one, and I'm feeling pretty lost about it. Update 2: I tried it again after a while, and there's this odd sensation of my face feeling tight. This cleanser is so gentle on my skin and leaves it feeling beautifully hydrated. Since it has a mild acidic pH, I find it works best for everyday essentials like sunscreen, foundation, and regular cleansing rather than removing heavy makeup. I really love how gently this cleanser works on my skin. It has a mild acidic formula that feels so soft and smooth, and it doesn't leave my skin feeling tight or parched. Of course, since it's not winter right now, the dryness factor might not be as noticeable, but honestly, I'm really happy with how it's performing at the moment. I'm using it as my morning cleanse and also as my second cleanse at night. I honestly can't think of any downsides so far. I really love that it's gently acidic and made with such mild ingredients. I was worried it might leave my skin feeling parched after use, but it actually feels great! The only thing that's a bit disappointing is that it doesn't lather up as much as I'd hoped. I haven't tried cleansing after makeup, so I can't speak to that, but I picked this up because it was recommended for when my skin was acting up. Since using it, I haven't experienced any major flare-ups, and I really love the ingredient formula. I'd definitely recommend this as a second cleanse or for anyone with sensitive skin! Because it has a mild acidic pH, it feels a bit slippery. If you're looking for that tight, squeaky-clean feeling, this might not be the one for you.
