Using since August 20th~ The scent has this slightly sharp vitamin-like quality, but there's also a fresh, zesty note that balances it out nicely, so I'm happy with how it smells. Though I have to say, the fragrance seems to attract fruit flies to my face...haha. When I first opened this product, I tried it a couple times in the evening but didn't notice any immediate results. But then one day after applying this and running my Mervis galvanic device for 20 minutes, I woke up the next morning and was amazed to see that the discoloration and scarring from my recent breakouts had faded so much! (I know the instructions say not to use a device with spicules and microneedling products, but I decided to experiment anyway...haha) I seriously want to throw this dropper away. Honestly, from the moment I first opened it, I could tell something was wrong with the dropper. It barely dispenses anything, and I was like, "Is this defective?" It feels so hydrating and moisturizing. When I apply it, there's no irritation at all. I've even noticed my dark spots and discoloration looking a bit lighter. The exfoliating particles cause some tightness and pulling on my skin. If you have sensitive skin, you won't be able to use this every day. Store in the refrigerator and use it up quickly.

I bought two bottles, finished one, and I'm writing this review. At first, it's a very pale yellow color, and by the time you finish it, it becomes a deeper yellow. The photo is of the empty bottle that I scraped, so it shows the bright yellow oxidized state! I was worried that having both vitamin C and spicules might be too irritating, but it's not irritating at all. I've tried a few products with that tingling sensation like spicules, but this is the gentlest one for my skin. Actually, it doesn't irritate at all—no tingling or itching whatsoever. It's amazing that I get the spicule benefits without any discomfort! The texture feels rich and thick, and it doesn't come out easily from the dropper. When I keep it in the fridge and use it cold, it feels more gel-like. At room temperature, it has more of an emulsion feel. It's not overly sticky and spreads smoothly on the skin. The scent is a strong, concentrated vitamin smell (not particularly pleasant). Even though it's recommended to store it in the fridge, my vanity isn't in direct sunlight and my home isn't that warm, so I don't bother with refrigeration. My skin is sensitive to UV rays, so I'm prone to age spots and freckles, easily get red, and sunburn easily. I especially pay attention to sun protection and brightening care in summer. Recently, I've been using this product along with another vitamin emulsion, and I've noticed less irritation and my age spots and freckles aren't getting darker, so it seems to be working well. Whether it's a formula issue or a dropper issue, it doesn't come out easily and requires multiple attempts. It's recommended to store it in the fridge and use it from there. I've been using this consistently for a month now, and I can definitely see that my dark spots look noticeably lighter. I'd recommend applying it only to the areas where you need it most for the best results. If you have sensitive or acne-prone skin, applying this all over your face might be too much. I really love how this comes in an essence formula that's so easy to apply. The high vitamin C concentration is fantastic, and unlike most other vitamin C products that can feel a bit stingy when you use them, this one feels completely gentle and comfortable on my skin. The product recommends refrigeration, which is a bit inconvenient since I have to take it out, use it, and then put it back in the fridge every time.
