I was worried the product might be too lightweight since 'trouble' is in the name, but I was pleasantly surprised! This product seems to have a really nice oil and moisture balance. People with dry skin might find it a bit parched, but it should work well for oily and combination skin types. After applying it, I definitely notice my skin feels calmer and I haven't experienced any breakouts. The capsules don't dissolve very easily. I had to rub them on my face for a while waiting for them to break down, which took longer than I'd like. Also, for products like this with this kind of formula, I think a tube or pump dispenser would be more hygienic than a jar. I'd recommend using this in the evening. I've ended up trying everything from Celladics. The ampoule is my favorite, but the cream is wonderful too. I use the cream more as a sealing layer, if that makes sense? Whether it's a sheet mask, ampoule, or essence, I use the cream to lock in moisture after those treatments, and honestly, this cream is almost too good to use just for that purpose. I'm really satisfied with it. The price point is a bit steep, I'll admit. That said, I absolutely love the ingredients. I wish they'd hand out more samples so everyone could try it before buying.

When I apply it by hand, the absorption is quite slow. The capsules don't dissolve quickly and tend to sit on top of my face, so I end up rubbing it in for a while. All that friction from my hands seems to warm up my skin temperature. Even after it finally absorbs, there's still a sticky residue left behind, which is why I don't find myself reaching for it as often.
