This cleanser is gentle and doesn't leave your skin feeling tight after use. It doesn't create much lather and has no fragrance. If you're living abroad, this is the most reliable brand you can grab from any drugstore. CeraVe really nails the basics, so whether you're looking at their cleansers or moisturizers, you're getting solid quality for the price. I'm usually pretty minimal with my base makeup routine—I just use sunscreen—so this cleanser's cleansing power was enough for me. But if you want something stronger, you'll definitely need a cleansing oil, micellar water, or cleansing balm. On days when I do wear eye makeup like mascara, I use a cleansing oil first to remove everything, then finish with this as a second step. Highly recommended for acne-prone skin. No irritation, leaves skin incredibly soft and smooth. Dermatologist-approved in the US. It worked wonderfully for my dry skin. My complexion felt so much more hydrated and comfortable. It didn't leave my skin feeling completely clean, and after using it regularly, I started getting breakouts.

I really loved how this cleanser soothed and calmed my skin Sometimes if you don't rinse it out thoroughly, residue can leave your skin feeling dry and tight If you don't drink enough water, your skin can become dehydrated and dry
