First off, it's really gentle. I have an autoimmune condition and extremely sensitive skin, so my lips crack every winter. This Cetaphil is the only cleanser my dermatologist approved... I honestly can't use any other product without it now. It's a bit rich, so I'm worried it might cause breakouts if I use it long-term. I've repurchased this product multiple times. It requires a bit of rubbing when applying, and while it doesn't feel like it absorbs instantly, I love that there's no greasy residue or tightness after application. I use it regularly at the pool, and I've noticed a real difference. My back and arms used to get really dry and itchy during winter, which would leave my skin irritated, but since using this emulsion, things have improved noticeably. The only downside is that sometimes I get lazy and don't feel like putting in the effort to rub it in properly, so I end up applying it carelessly. I'm really looking for a product that's both easy to apply and effective to use.

The moisturizing power is solid to excellent. That said, it might be a touch too rich for those with oily skin. I was using the original version and loved it so much that when they released a pricier option, I decided to give it a try. But after purchasing, I noticed the ceramides are vegan. I wish I'd known that beforehand because I wouldn't have bought it. Honestly, it doesn't justify the higher price tag, and the original formula performs better.
