I decided to give this a try. I wasn't looking for exfoliating properties—I just wanted something that would hydrate and smooth my skin texture without causing irritation. This liquid formula is exactly what I needed and it delivers! The toner absorbs beautifully without leaving my skin feeling parched or sticky. It's incredibly moisturizing yet lightweight, striking that perfect balance. It genuinely feels like a well-rounded product. It immediately calms the heat and redness in my skin (though it's not a cooling sensation type of product) while gently refining my complexion. This is honestly that rare gem of a toner that does everything right—the one you search everywhere for but rarely find. Given the product's intended purpose, I understand, but honestly it only delivers on calming and hydration. It doesn't offer much beyond that. If you're looking for brightening effects or exfoliating benefits, you'll need to incorporate a different treatment toner into your routine.

Use it as a gentle exfoliating toner to refresh your skin, or apply it as a toner mask on areas prone to sensitivity and redness for amazing results. I use this toner so frequently that I really wish they would release a larger size option.

Since it's a toner, there are still some dry patches when I apply just this alone. That said, I can definitely see a difference in my skin's condition on days I use it versus days I don't. The scent is fragrance-free, and the texture is literally like water flowing. As someone with dry skin, I think an essence-type toner with more hydration would work better for me.

Cetaphil lives up to its reputation as a brand trusted even for babies—it's genuinely mild, making it great for sensitive skin too. Plus, since it's a true water toner, it works wonderfully as a toner mask! Since it's purely a water toner, those with dry skin might find it feels a bit parched. Even with multiple layers, I wish it delivered more hydration and moisture.
