I picked up this red ginseng cream during an online promotion, and I'm so glad I did! I used to love a traditional herbal skincare line from Koriana called Bitchwi Gaein, and the beautiful packaging and smooth application really stuck with me. That's why I grabbed this one. With 60 ml, you're getting more product than most creams out there. The texture is incredibly silky, almost like a soufflé cream that glides onto your skin like a dream. It feels so soft and hydrating, and honestly, the moisture boost is amazing! After applying it, my skin feels deeply moisturized all the way down to the deeper layers, not just on the surface. It's that luxurious feeling of hydration that goes beyond skin-deep. I also love the subtle fragrance, which has this delicate floral note to it, almost like a hint of osmanthus flower. It's just lovely.
There aren't really any major drawbacks, but when I looked into the ingredient list, I was surprised to find more potentially concerning ingredients than I expected. Since it's marketed as a traditional herbal formula, I thought it would have minimal questionable components, so that was a bit disappointing.
I originally considered buying the full skincare set during the holiday promotion, but decided to test out just the cream first, and it turned out to be a great choice. The regular retail price is actually quite steep, so catching it during a promotional sale like this is the perfect opportunity to snag it at a much more affordable price.
