It's not quite like a BB cream, and it doesn't give you a clear brightening effect either. The real issue is that the staying power is pretty disappointing. No matter the season, it just sweats right off. Plus, as you're applying it, this burgundy tone comes through like you're contouring, and if you don't blend it well enough, you end up looking like you've got something smudged all over your face. No pilling or clumping whatsoever. The color looks incredibly natural, and the wear time is impressive. It covers redness beautifully, and compared to other products, it has noticeably less shine and oiliness throughout the day. The scent is a bit underwhelming, and there's some darkening as time goes on. Other than that, everything else is great. I squeeze just twice onto the back of my hand, dab a bit on each cheek and blend it out, then use what's left on my hand to cover my forehead and chin. That's the best application method.
