I'm on my third bottle now! I've always struggled with scalp heat and tightness that was really uncomfortable. After about a month of using this, I noticed a huge improvement! I didn't realize how much better my scalp felt during the first month, so I didn't repurchase. But as soon as I stopped using it, the heat came right back. Now I'm using it again and my scalp heat and tightness are completely gone! The product spreads smoothly in one direction and gives a nice cooling sensation that feels amazing. The product description mentioned it helps with gray hair, but I haven't noticed that effect yet. The biggest issue is the price. One bottle lasts about a month to a month and a half. I buy a lot during sales and stock up, but the price relative to the amount you get is pretty steep. Since reducing scalp heat was my main priority, I applied it to my scalp before blow-drying and massaged it in, then dried my hair starting with the scalp using cool air. This doubles the cooling effect.

Personally, I have frizzy hair and get keratin treatments every 4-5 months, which has really damaged my hair and made my scalp incredibly sensitive. Since this Houttuynia Cordata scalp ampoule is designed to soothe and massage the scalp while helping prevent hair loss, I've been using it religiously for my scalp health. After three weeks of use, I discovered something remarkable. I used to have noticeable hair thinning at my hairline and would always cover it up, but after using this product, my hair actually started growing back in that area! It's been such a pleasant surprise that I'm now wearing my bangs down with confidence. I genuinely think this will become one of my holy grail products. I'm also really impressed with how the Houttuynia Cordata and ginseng extract formula feels so refreshing and cooling when I massage it into my scalp. If I had to mention a downside, it's the scent. The fragrance smells quite herbal and ginseng-like. While it's not off-putting when I apply it in the morning before heading out, the smell does linger throughout the day. Also, the bottle size is quite small, so it runs out quickly. Honestly, for the price point, I wish the bottle were larger. Try giving yourself a scalp massage before bed. You'll sleep better and can really restore your scalp's health.
