Fortunately, Daycell's snail sunscreen has minimal side effects! I'm talking no redness, hives, or irritation. Even my basic skincare routine relies on prescription medications rather than regular cosmetics because my skin is so reactive. Thankfully, this sunscreen works beautifully for me, and I've been repurchasing it for years now. What makes this even more impressive is that despite my sensitive and delicate skin, my skin type leans toward combination with oily and dry zones, which means greasy, heavy products trigger breakouts and pilling when layered with other products. But Daycell has the perfect balance of moisture - it applies smoothly, absorbs nicely after a moment, and leaves a protective layer on the surface without that heavy, oily feeling. I've definitely noticed a significant reduction in excess shine. My skin tone gets evenly corrected without looking overdone, which is super helpful when I'm rushing out in the morning or heading to the gym in the afternoon. I've cycled through at least twenty different sunscreens because my skin is so demanding, and this one ranks in my top three favorite sunscreens of all time. Of course, results vary from person to person, but you really need to find the right amount for your skin - if I apply less than my ideal amount, it dries out very quickly and feels tight. If I apply more than my ideal amount, it immediately feels oily, pills, and causes a mess. You might think that's obvious, but compared to other products I've used, this sunscreen has a much narrower range of how much product your skin will accept. If you're planning to layer a foundation or cushion compact on top as a base, it's best to wait a bit longer for the sunscreen to fully set on your skin before applying the next product. After application, it doesn't leave a sticky residue and your skin looks noticeably brighter and more radiant. It does have a slightly dewy finish, but when you layer it with a BB cream or foundation on top, it lasts so much longer and provides excellent sun protection! This is the only sunscreen I use. After application, the skin feels beautifully dry and smooth. The scent is pleasant and inoffensive. I have seborrheic dermatitis and overall very sensitive skin. A friend gave me this sunscreen, so I tried it a few times. Every single time I apply it, my cheeks immediately turn red like an allergic reaction. It's not even after I finish applying it—my skin gets red while I'm still applying it, so it's definitely this product causing it. I also feel a stinging sensation. It might be fine for people with healthy skin, but for those of us with hypersensitive skin, this sunscreen seems to cause irritation.
